Who I am

Learn a bit about me.

Who I am:

I recieved my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2013. I am motivated to design algorithms that solve dynamic and complex problems. Engineering is a passion for me and I do not feel I will ever have to “work” a day in my life because it is something I truly love to do.

I began my career in 2007 when the first iPhone SDK was released because it was an innovative product with the potential to revolutionize the mobile phone market. At that time I was a recent high school graduate with plans to pursue a college degree, I just did not know what my degree would be focused on. The iPhone began capturing a large audience and there was unlimited potential with Apple’s App Store. I still rember the days of running to Barns and Noble and Books a Million and grabbing the newest release of an Objective C book with an insatiable desire to learn about programming and making this new device do whatever I wanted it to do. At that time it never crossed my mind that the iPhone would transform society and provide me with such an amazing career opportunity.

Within a few months of programming I was hooked. I knew this hobby/job was exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. At that moment I decided to pursue a degree in Computer Science. Little was I aware that this was going to be one of the biggest challenges/journeys I have ever faced.
